Effective with deliveries as of May 1, 2018, PennyMac will begin to require evidence of successful submission of Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) data to both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as a condition of purchase. This includes the requirement of embedding the Closing Disclosure PDF in the UCD data file. This requirement is in preparation of UCD becoming a fatal delivery edit with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in June.
Also in June, additional UCD warning messages will transition to fatal edits. Clients are encouraged to evaluate their UCD submissions to identify all “warning to fatal” messages and take corrective action.
